We have opened our online crew database and are looking to increase its members now!

If you are looking for film work - whether inexperienced or professional - you can add yourself detailing your experience which will be open for others to look at.

The aim of the database is to enable online networking and ease the searching of crew for all those concerned.

filmSouth opens with a morning session introducing Screen South's new framework for supporting and developing film enterprise and production in the region, explaining how today's film-maker can successfully receive support from the agency and its network of Community & Industry development partners throughout the south-east.

From immersive 3-D installations, moving image work in 3 galleries to big screen cinematic experiences under the stars, we draw together local and international talent to celebrate the journeys made possible by film and moving image.Shot by the Sea offers feature films, a two day film conference, a magical audio tour and a range of outstanding short films. This year we have an open-air event in the grounds of Hastings Museum and Art Gallery with the band Minima performing a live soundtrack in an audacious, interpretation of the cult film The Cabinet of Dr Calligari.Join with friends for the 5Day Film Challenge and create a masterpiece. The winning film will be premiered at the open-air Big Beach screening, where you can don your best outfit and party-on down to enjoy one of the world’s most flamboyant road movies – The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
