Monitoring performance

As a Government-funded project, the BFTVI is monitored closely by a number of agencies to which it is accountable.

The Accountable Body to which we report is Hastings Borough Council. If you wish to contact them, please address any correspondence to:

As the Accountable Body, Hastings Borough Council is required, under the covenants of the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative through which the BFTVI is funded, to report to the Government regularly on performance of the scheme. This it does through the delivery of detailed monitoring reports provided to it by the BFTVI on a quarterly basis.

Hastings Borough Council has been appointed as Accountable Body by the Hastings & Bexhill Economic Alliance, the authorising organisation through which the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative is delivered and through which the BFTVI had to gain approval for its framework prior to its launch.

The Hastings & Bexhill Economic Alliance is a partnership organisation responsible for economic regeneration in Hastings and Bexhill and is in receipt of a number of funding streams from Government and the Regional Development Agency, SEEDA (www.seeda.co.uk) to deliver projects in the towns. It reports to its funding organisations, and to both the Hastings and St.Leonards Strategic Partnership (www.hastings.gov.uk/lsp) and Rother Strategic Partnership (www.rother.gov.uk). For further information about these partnerships and to obtain any minutes of proceedings, please visit the respective websites.
